Campus Student Computer Labs
Computer & Network Services offers this web page as a service to UAH faculty, staff and students. This site should not be considered an exhaustive listing of all student labs available on campus. A complete listing of computer labs is listed in the "Schedule of Classes" for each given term. The latest schedule of classes is available at Charger Central in room 118 of the University Center.
If you are a lab administrator and would like to have your lab listed here, send the CNS Help Desk an email message and we will add a link to your site.
Please note: all computer labs are supported, operated, and maintained by the sponsoring colleges and academic departments.
All computer laboratories are conveniently located and most have liberal hours of operation. To prevent a wasted trip, be sure to check the links below for lab hours of operation, software packages available, and admission requirements.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Be sure to have your UAH Student-ID with you at all times when you are on campus. Most computer laboratories require either a current UAH Student ID or an UAH Faculty/Staff ID for admittance.
The selection of software installed on the lab systems varies from one lab to another. Select a link below to identify which software packages are installed in that particular lab.
Need assistance while visiting one of the UAH computer laboratories? Many of the computer labs are self-service, although some have computer laboratory administrators or student lab assistants who monitor the lab facility. For more information on support levels select a link below.
ResNET Computer Laboratories located in Campus Housing
Computer & Network Services and the University Housing host three computer labs for use by residents of UAH University Housing. In most cases these labs are available for resident usage 24/7 with the exception of SECH 604, which has limited hours.
Central Campus Residence Hall (CCRH - 115)
This lab is features two Dell desktop PCs. Each system has Microsoft Office 2003 and other popular applications installed. Access to Internet resources is controlled by ResNET username and password.
Frank Franz Hall (formerly NCRH I)
This lab is features three Dell desktop PCs. Each system has Microsoft Office 2003 and other popular applications installed. Access to Internet resources is controlled by ResNET user name and password.
Southeast Campus Residence Hall (SECH 604)
This lab is features two Dell desktop PCs. Each system has Microsoft Office 2003 and other popular applications installed. Access to Internet resources is controlled by the ResNET user name and password. Before you can access to this lab you need to go to the Housing office in SECH 606.

Salmon Library InfoArcade
Salmon Library This lab moved from Von Braun Research Hall in January, 2008. It offers extended hours for UAH students, and a valid student ID is required outside of normal business hours. For additional information click here.
