Smash Bros. Brawl Rules

General Rules

-Tournament Begins at 8:00 PM

-Participants will have three minutes to arrive at the screen area after their name is called. If they fail to show before this time is up, they will be disqualified and / or give up their spot in the bracket. Remember the time that the organizer gives you for your match, which should be a fairly good estimate of when to arrive. Arriving ten to twenty minutes before then is probably a pretty good idea.

-No extra controllers will be allowed to be synced with the Wii in use, as the Wii remote syncing process is too time consuming. The only exception is if you would like to use a Gamecube controller.

-Please don't ask us if you can bring your own controller because it has your own profile. It would be cool to see everyone's name on screen, but it would be far too time consuming.

-Those using continually harsh or offensive language will be automatically disqualified. This will be at the sole discretion of the tournament organizers. We realize that this is a game that merits trash talking, but do your best to keep it reasonably clean. Just use common sense, there is a line that can be crossed.

Tournament Rules

-The tournament will consist of four rounds. Within the first three rounds, the top two players will advance to the next round. This will be determined by the default game rules, which means simply that whoever has the most knockouts will be the winner.

-Tournament rules will be the game defaults. Wins will come as a result of total knockouts, not a stock count.

-All rounds up until the final one on one match will be three minutes long. The final round will be an epic six minutes long.

-Participants will draw numbers prior to a match to see who will select the stage. The final stage for the one on one match will Final Destination, largely due to the lack of hinderances on the stage. And also because the irony is not lost on us.
