Mission Statement

The University of Alabama in Huntsville M. Louis Salmon Library is committed to providing library services and resources to distance education students comparable to those services provided for on-campus students. Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that students enrolled in distance education courses at UAH will have access to adequate library resources and services.

UAH's Distance Education students must use their student identification numbers to access library resources and services through the University Library's homepage: http://lib.uah.edu & to login to iLink the web-based catalog for access to full services.

Online Reference Questions

The UAH Reference Librarians will advise researchers on appropriate reference books, indexes, databases and other research tools. Answers will be sent to the e-mail address you provide within 24-48 hours. To ask a question of the UAH Librarians go to Research Assistance & click on Ask a Librarian. Fill out & submit the Ask a Librarian form.

Interlibrary Loan Services

Interlibrary loan policies and forms are available at the interlibrary loan page or you may request a loan via the online form at http://librarycatalog.uah.edu/. Login to the library catalog with your student #. Click Request material from the menu. Select type of request & complete form. Click Submit.
