Register with Turnitin
- Go to www.turnitin.com.
Click on the create a user profile button on the
Turnitin homepage.
- Enter your UAH email address. (Don’t know
your UAH email address? Go to http://www.uah.edu/email.html
and type in your last name).
- Follow the on-screen instructions. When you are done creating your
profile, you will be asked if you want to use the student class enrollment
wizard. Click Yes.
- On the next screen, enter the class ID and enrollment
password given to you by your instructor for your class.
- Click submit to enroll in the class and add it
to your homepage.
Enroll in a Class
- To login to Turnitin, go to www.turnitin.com.
- At the top right, enter your UAH email address
and user password.
- Click Log In.
- Click the enroll in a class button on your screen.
- On the next screen, enter the class ID and enrollment
password given to you by your instructor for your class.
- Click submit to enroll in the class and add it
to your homepage.
- The new class will appear in your list of classes.
Submit a Paper
- Log in and click on the name of the class.
- Click the submit button next to the desired assignment
in your class portfolio.
- Select file upload from the submission pulldown
menu.
- Enter a title for your paper.
- Click Browse and find the file you want to submit.
- Double-click on the file name and the file path should appear in
the file field.
- Click submit. On the following page you will be
asked to confirm the text of your submission.
- Click yes, submit to finalize your submission.
Note: You can cut and paste your paper into the white
text box.
- Make a note of the digital receipt ID that confirms
your submission.
- Click logout.
Note: Check your confirmation email from turnitin.com
for your login and password.
